The country is unquestionably in need of such a monument. It would quickly
become known and recognized around the world, and would serve as a potent
symbol of the terrible crimes committed against Ukraine and her people and
of the hope that such crimes will never be repeated.
In addition, the flowers will be laid to the graves in Bykovnya, Babiy Yar,
in Baykove Cemetary (to the graves of V.Stus, O.Tukhiy, Y.Lytvyn,
I.Svetlychny, V.Chornovil, Y.Cherednichenko, A.Lupinos and V.Hurdzin), in
Lisove Cemetary (to grave of B.Antonenko-Davydovych), in Hatne village (to
grave of V.Marchenko).
The public prayer will be served in all churches of Ukraine.
