KYIV.......The Ukraine postal service will issues a new
stamp to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the
holodomor (genocidal famine) and other famines , according
to information received by the www.ArtUkraine.com Information
Service (ARTUIS) earlier this week.
It is expected that the stamp will be issued in November of
2003. The offical day of commemoraton for the Holodomor in
Ukraine is the fourth Saturday of November each year. Additional
information about the new stamp will be reported as it becomes
available.
